ri-former® Modular Diagnostic Station

A modular diagnostic system offering various modules, including blood pressure (NIBP) and thermometry, with a centralised power supply for up to three diagnostic handles. Riester diagnostic ri-former® systems support up to three handles, each compatible with six interchangeable heads: otoscope, ophthalmoscope, dermatoscope, tongue blade holder, nasal speculum or light conductor. The diagnostic handles are available with a choice of Riester ri-scope® L and EliteVue instrument heads with LED illumination, offering up to 100,000 hours.

Design options

ri-former® is available in the following design options:

  • Rail design is designed to attach to the rail horizontally. It comes with 2 handles and ri-spec integrated specula dispenser.
  • Mobile base is made of higher-quality stainless steel pole, which is height adjustable (105 – 130 cm / 41.3 – 51.2 in), with effortless mobility facilitated by low-friction castors, antistatic properties, and two lockable castors (75 mm / 3 in) with a diameter of 54 cm / 21 in. It comes with 2 handles and ri-spec integrated specula dispenser.
  • Wall design is designed to be attached to the wall. It comes with a choice of 1 or 2 handles and includes a wall mounting plate, plugs and screws.

Diagnostic handles

  • ri-spec integrated specula dispenser – for ear and nasal specula, choose from five funnels for five different specula sizes. This allows the use of a new speculum for each examination and is easy to refill and disinfect
