Neonatal patient’s skin is sensitive and preemies have skin that is even more sensitive. Riester neonatal stethoscope offers double chest piece with extra-fine finishing to provide neonatal patient’s comfort.

The duplex® 2.0 neonatal stethoscope is especially suited to newborns and babies. Its double chestpiece with extra-fine finishing permits perfect auscultation of infants. The duplex 2.0 neonatal includes a bell.

What is the difference between duplex® 2.0 neonatal and duplex® neonatal stethoscope?

  • duplex® 2.0 neonatal has the spring integrated, whereas duplex® neonatal has an external spring.
  • duplex® 2.0 neonatal has pivotable ear-tips, whereas duplex® neonatal has fixed ear-tips.
  • duplex® 2.0 neonatal has a marking to show the user which side of the chest piece is open (membrane or bell).
