The Tonometer
An eye pressure test uses an instrument called a tonometer to measure the pressure inside your eye. 1
Riester’s schiötz Tonometer is used to measure intraocular pressure. Eye doctors primarily use the tonometry in cases of suspected increased intraocular pressure or as a preventive examination for early detection of glaucoma.
