Fingertip pulse oximeter

Oxygen binds to haemoglobin in red blood method as it passes through the lungs and is carried through the body in arterial blood. A pulse oximeter uses red and infrared light to measure the percentage of haemoglobin saturated with oxygen, known as SpO₂. It also displays the pulse rate and, in some models, the respiratory rate, providing a quick, non-invasive way to monitor vital signs.
