Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d), DACH (medical devices)

Job description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in Germany. The candidate will report to the Sales Director Europe & Africa and perform sales duties in his territory including key account management, distributors’ management, building and nourishing of relationships with insurance companies, strategic partnerships and business development.

Responsibilities include developing valuable short- and medium term sales plans and an effective commercial strategy. We expect proactive collaboration with other functions in the company to achieve business goals and promote the company's values and culture.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Report on regional sales results. The territory covers Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with Germany being the primary focus
  • Provide quarterly and annual Forecast
  • Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility in alignment with business objectives
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth. Be a source of market, competition and customer knowledge
  • Develop the commercial strategy for the territory
  • Drive marketing activities for product awareness and provide marketing support for distributors
  • Manage the customers and key accounts negotiations
  • Build and nourish an active Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) network.

Your experience

  • Profound experience in MedTech commercial areas: both key accounts’ management and distributors’ management. Existing relationships/connections with key insurance companies (AOK, TK, etc.)
  • Proven sales track record and a history of achieving commercial results
  • Familiar with managing digital product portfolio in medical device industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven sales track record and a history of achieving commercial results

Your profile

  • University degree in business, engineering, technical studies
  • Extensive experience in MedTech, with minimum 10 years of commercial experience in medical device industry and an established, strong network of contacts, both customers/end users as well as Key Opinion Leaders: this should include contacts within key German Health Insurance providers.
  • Able to work proactively and independently with other functions such as Marketing and Product Management
  • Good knowledge of the reimbursement systems and key principles in Germany
  • Fluent in English and German.
